Well, that’s the Brussels Show by with for another year! By all accounts, exhibitor & visitor numbers were down this year, although we didn’t notice much difference on our stand. All the sales team were kept busy for the whole Show and we managed to sell our last remaining mackerel stocks. Hopefully an empty mackerel market now bodes well for next season. We’d like to thank all the visitors to our stand and we look forward to meeting you again soon.

Our blue whiting season finished at the end of April and we processed almost the same quantity as last year. The season started & finished earlier this year but the quality & size were similar to last year.

Things are fairly quiet in the factory just now with the usual repairs & maintenance underway. We’ll have some more shipments of mackerel & blue whiting to empty the cold store before the North Sea herring season starts in July/August. Unfortunately the quota isn’t large this year so we only expect a very short season.
